A hierarchy of advisor value

Behavioural scientist Abraham Maslow wrote: “A Theory of Human Motivation” in 1943, arguing that humans worldwide are influenced by a “hierarchy of needs”. Below shows the importance of having a robust financial plan, even more so in times of uncertainty. There are two reasons to seek financial advice

 – If it adds value
 – If the funds perform

What are you paying for your existing pensions and investments, are you having meetings, getting value???

What actually makes you productive

I still got it wrong. I came into the year rested, new outlook and promise of a better work-life balance. Shock it fell at the wayside. By the end of Jan, I was back at the top picture, making no time for me or my family. 4 days into Feb, I have readjusted, up early for a ride, finish on time to have dinner with my little girl and eating well.

With a little discipline to get up and get on the bike, then turn my computer off at the end of the day, I am already more productive. Who else has let it slip and is not looking after themselves.
