20 Apr The Aspiring Adviser Programme
We at Eight Wealth Management believe that investing in our employees is as important as investing in finances, and after months of discussion, consideration and planning throughout 2020, we launched our first in-house ‘Aspiring Advisers Programme’ from our headquarters in Whiteley.
To be a finalist in the Training Programme of The Year in the Portsmouth News Business Excellence Awards 2022 is a testament to the dedication and hard work of everyone involved! And as a result, we are delighted to announce that this year will see the first graduates of the Aspiring Adviser Programme and begin their careers as fully qualified Financial Advisers with Eight Wealth Management.
“I cannot express how proud I am of everyone organising, contributing and taking part in the Aspiring Advisors Programme,’ says Eight Wealth Management’s founder and CEO, Ian Riggs.
Testimonial from an aspiring adviser
We sat down with aspiring adviser Lloyd Martin and asked about his experience on the programme so far. Here’s what he had to say:
How have you found the Programme so far?
Excellent, Eight have some seriously talented people working for them, and I like that I will already have built vital relationships with the support staff teams before I start as an adviser and there is always someone to talk to whether that is work-related or not. I also love the fact I can sit in on meetings with, and be inspired by some incredibly talented advisers.
Can you give an example of a personal highlight of the programme so far?
Being supported by my mentor, Steve Adsett, as, he is a great guy and I have learned so much from him. I have also made some good friends along the way.
