14 May Financial Advisers Achieve Chartered Status
One of the South’s largest financial planning firms, Eight Wealth Management, is proud to announce the first cohort from its team of advisers have all successfully achieved ‘Chartered Status’ with the Chartered Insurance Institute.
Specialist advisers at Eight Wealth Management in Whiteley are celebrating high level accreditation’s with the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), the association committed to ensuring standards, professionalism and trust in financial planning.
Heralded as a symbol of technical competence, Chartered titles are granted to individuals that meet strict qualifying criteria, including a proven track record of five years’ relevant experience, at least three years’ professional development and clear demonstration of professional knowledge.
Company founder and CEO, Ian Riggs, was one of the team of six who demonstrated their expertise and abilities over a three-year course of study and written examinations.
‘As a company, we pride ourselves on being at the forefront of industry initiatives that promote credibility and accountability for our profession,’ he explains. ‘Not only is it a source of pride for the individual and our business, but is gives that extra reassurance to clients who trust us with their investments and financial planning for the future.’
‘The opportunity to learn such a breadth of specialist knowledge has been demanding, but also motivating and really rewarding,’ says Sasha McKee, who was Eight Wealth Management’s first Chartered Consultant, is a Fellow of the CII and has worked for the firm for six years. ‘Accreditation’s such as these boost your self-confidence and you notice the difference when applying that education to finding the best solutions and advice for clients.’
Other newly Chartered advisers at the firm are Director Jamie Mallon, Senior Consultant Lorraine Sellwood, Financial Planner Andrew Brown and Consultant Christine Jarvis.
