Financial Firm Awarded Chartered Status
After many months of work, the staff of one of the South’s largest wealth management firms is proud to announce its accreditation with the Chartered Insurance Institute.
Financial advisers at Eight Wealth Management Limited have been delighted with the news the firm’s application for ‘Chartered Status’ has been approved by the Chartered Insurance Institute.
Having demonstrated the firm’s core values and business practices are in line with the CII’s code of ethics, the requisite number of individuals have achieved Chartered Status in their own right, and an internal professional development programme for all staff is ensuring the highest standards of service are maintained, Eight Wealth Management can now prove its commitment to both the industry and its clients.
‘The reason we were so keen to embark on this process was to achieve a formal recognition of the efforts we make to maintain the crucial foundation of our work – client trust,’ explains Eight Wealth Management’s CEO, Ian Riggs. ‘To have the leading professional body look at what we are doing and give us their approval in this accreditation is both satisfying and exhilarating.’
Riggs also recognises that now more than ever, clients are in need of reassurance the new accreditation provides.
‘Financial planning is becoming increasingly important for the long-term well-being of individuals, families and businesses, especially at a time when financial security and resilience is being scrutinised and discussed on a daily basis,’ he says.
‘The attention, focus and thought needed to follow financial markets at this time is demanding, even exhausting at times, but it is our responsibility and, as our new status proves, one we take very seriously.’
