I wanted to thank you myself and on behalf of the entire team here at The Eight Foundation, for joining us at the Natural History Museum on the 11th May.  We had a very gracious amount of support and this would not have been possible without your attendance.

Your attendance and generosity will enable us as a Foundation to continue to serve those in need, and we sincerely appreciate your commitment and time to the Foundation.

The evening was a huge success and provided many wonderful memories which we shall all cherish. Sir Lenny Henry was outstanding throughout the evening and I was extremely honoured to have shared the stage alongside him.

I have no doubt we were all deeply moved by the beautiful voice of Jasmine Elcock singing ‘Wings’, after the very moving video we were all so fortunate to watch of the beautiful young lady Bethany who sadly passed this April.

I hope you were as inspired as I was by Mr Loyd Durham and his determination and we were very excited by his wonderful announcement that he is aiming to compete in the Paralympic Games in the near future.

With your generosity, we were able to raise a astonishing £63,348.60 on the evening, an accomplishment we can all be proud of. We are overjoyed at this achievement and appreciate all your support at this event.

We will continue to build on this year’s successes with the support of our friends and community with renewed commitment. We would love for you to be an active member of our Eight Foundation too. Please visit and subscribe for emails and newsletters.

Yours Sincerely

Ian Riggs
